Health Trail

Health Trail™ by Play & Park Structures provides the opportunity for exercise and fitness for all ages.  The Health Trail Exercise System combines a series of 12 or 20 scientifically designed exercise stations for placement along 1 to 2 mile jogging trail. Each station is equipped with a detailed exercise instruction sign designed to accommodate all levels of fitness: beginner, intermediate and advanced.

Development

The Health Trail system of intervals develops, improves, and ultimately maintens participants’ fitness levels in the following areas:

Cardiovascular Conditioning
Muscle Tone
Flexibility

Monitoring Heart Rate

Participants can monitor their target heart rate by using the Pulse Monitor Check charts located at strategic exercise stations throughout the course.

Health Trail Stations

Each station is equipped with a detailed exercise instruction sign designed to accommodate all levels of fitness and specify walking, jogging, or running depending on that level. See below for images of individual stations.

Materials

Health Trail™ instruction signs are constructed from powder coated steel tubing and silk screen aluminum sheet. Exercise equipment is constructed primarily from powder coated steel tubing and plastisol coated punched steel.
